We provide aerial data capture, mapping, and visual documentation that gives property owners, contractors, and project teams the clarity they need to make confident decisions. Meet the Owner

RFSI was founded by Max Eckhardt, a Michigan-based entrepreneur currently studying Hospitality, Tourism, and Business at Grand Valley State University. Alongside his coursework, Max works at a property management and development company in Grand Rapids — and it's that daily exposure to real estate projects, site coordination, and property operations that planted the seed for Red Feather.

He kept noticing the same friction points: teams lacking timely site visibility, documentation that lagged behind actual progress, and no efficient way to get a clear picture of what was happening on a property. Rather than just observing the problem, Max built a solution.

Why This Work

Launching RFSI is the natural intersection of everything Max is drawn to: technology, entrepreneurship, and building something real from the ground up. As a business student with hands-on exposure to property development, he brings a working understanding of what clients actually need — not just clean deliverables, but data that fits into a real workflow. His FAA Part 107 certification backs the technical side, while his business education keeps the operation running sharp.

There's also genuine excitement here. Drone technology is reshaping how entire industries operate, and Max is energized to be building at the front edge of that shift — not watching from the sidelines.

Beyond the Job Site

When he's not flying missions or meeting with clients, you'll find Max at the gym, out on the water jetskiing and wakeboarding, or hiking and exploring somewhere new. He's a traveler at heart who loves adventure — whether that's swimming with friends on a summer day or mapping out the next trip on the horizon. That same energy and curiosity carry directly into his work: always looking for a better angle, a smarter solution, and the next opportunity to push things forward.
